One of our objectives is to cooperate in administering premises and equipment of the company in order to enjoy the following benefits:

The administration of assets shall not be treated purely for an accounting objective or only as asset tagging, but also for what Apert deems as essential at a corporation: unifying the language of all tagged asset. This creates an ample vision and easier, fast handling and generates safer managerial decisions and mainly cost reduction.

Inventory Standards and Asset Tagging

  • Classifying and standardizing process for carrying on inventory.
  • Physical identification of inventoried equipment by using bar coded identification plates.
  • Ex.: standardized description and place where to tag.

Administrative Procedures
Development of the guidelines and processes for improvements of the administration of the capital assets, with flowcharts of the involved departments.

Reconciliation
Reconciliation of accounting entries with physical inventory of premises and equipment existing nowadays at your company.

Database
Supplying database result of accounting entries and physical reconciliation encompassing the necessary standardization.

Qualification
An issue of concern is also on what refers to the real knowledge held by the user of the result of such asset administration. Apert develops all training for employees of hiring company in order to qualify them to continue asset administration.

Fiscal classification
Revision according to the Regulatory Directives 162 and 12/98 issued by the Customs and Federal Authority of Brazil aiming at defining asset’s useful life.

Useful Life Reviewing
Both fiscal and managerial, as this datum shall serve not only for an obligation of Internal Revenue Service of Brazil but also to manage operational costs.
